GOLD and METALS EXPLORATION

Mozambique
Exploration and development of prospective gold projects in Mozambique presently underway in the Tete province approximately 230 sq km of gold and other metals licenses under Earn-In and Joint Venture Agreement with OptiMetal Trading Limited under which the Company can earn up to an 85% interest and features the King Solomon Gold project in the center of the Fingoe Belt.

Please Note:African Queen's JV Partner ABBA Mining is Presently in Dispute Over Portion of the Rongo License in Kenya

The Rongo Gold Field Project is situated in the Kanango gold mining area of the Migori District of Nyanza Province in Southwest Kenya near Lake Victoria. The Project is subject to an Earn-In and Joint Venture Agreement between the Company and Abba Mining Company Limited, pursuant to which the Company may earn up to an 85% interest in the Project, which is covered by a license encompassing approximately 112 sq. km., by funding prescribed optional stages from exploration through feasibility. 

Rongo Gold Field Project

Ghana
The Company is aquiring approximately 28.9 sq. km. from Newmont Mining located within the Birim North District of Ghana’s Eastern Region, approximately 130 km. NW of Accra. It is at the northeastern end of Ghana’s well-known, gold-producing Ashanti Gold Belt, near Newmont’s Akyem deposit which is presently under development for potential production. It is also within approximately 100 km. of AngloGold Ashanti’s world-class Obuasi Mine and the old Konongo open pit gold mine. Approval by Ghana Ministry is pending.

DIAMOND EXPLORATION

Botswana
Botswana remains the world’s leading producer of gem diamonds. The Company's Tsau properties are strategically located close to two major surface concentrations of diamonds and G10 garnets in the vicinity of Omatako and Tsumkwe, to the west in Namibia.

Namibia
The ground in Namibia has been acquired in order to investigate a group of bulls-eye magnetic and photo features, closely comparable to those typical of kimberlite clusters that straddle the Namibian-Botswana border.
